  • Identification and contact data: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address.
  • Order data: products purchased, order history, return and exchange requests.
  • Payment data: processed directly by our payment processor. We only receive limited details, such as the card brand and last four digits.
  • Communications: messages you send to our support team.

  • To process, ship and deliver your orders
  • To handle returns, exchanges and refunds
  • To provide customer support
  • To prevent fraud and keep our website secure
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

4. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring pages and the date and time of your visit, using cookies and similar technologies (Section 7).

We process your information to perform our contract with you (fulfilling your order), to comply with legal obligations, for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving our services) and, where required, with your consent (marketing and non-essential cookies).

6. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our store:

  • Shopify, our e-commerce platform, which hosts our website and processes order data on our behalf
  • Shopify Payments, our payment processor
  • USPS, our shipping carrier
  • Our fulfillment center provider in Gardena, California, which packs and ships orders and receives returns
  • Government authorities, when required by law

We do not sell your personal information for money. If we use marketing cookies that may be considered “sharing” for targeted advertising under some U.S. state laws, you can opt out at any time (Section 10).

7. Cookies

We use three types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: required for the website to work, for example to keep items in your cart and complete checkout securely.
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.

Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption (HTTPS) on every page. Card details are processed by our payment processor under PCI-DSS standards and are never stored on our servers. Access to customer data is limited to team members who need it to serve you.

9. Data Retention

  • Order and transaction records: 7 years, for tax and accounting purposes
  • Support communications: 3 years
  • Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it

After these periods, data is deleted or anonymized.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:

  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your personal information
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising

  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

To exercise any right, email support@marelle.com.br with the subject “Privacy Request”. We will confirm receipt within 1 business day and complete your request within 45 days, as allowed by law. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our website is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-Party Websites

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, such as social media or carrier tracking pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. Please review their privacy policies.

13. International Data Processing

Our service providers may store data outside your state or country. Members of our support team may also access customer data from outside the United States, including from Brazil. Wherever your data is processed, we protect it as described in this policy.

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
